RICHLAND CENTER, WIS (WRCO) – Time to cook it up with Hank!

Banana-Peanut Butter Rocket
Serves: 1 late-night astronaut who ain’t afraid of a sticky situation

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana (ripe enough to squish or turn into mushy mush)
  • 2 spoonfuls peanut butter (chunky, ‘cause smooth’s for city folk)
  • Chocolate chips or raisins for “space rocks” (or whatever your dog dropped in the floor)
  • A sprinkle of mischief (or actual dirt, up to you)

Instructions:

  1. Peel that banana like it owes you money, and fling the peel behind you like it’s confetti at a hillbilly parade. Watch out for pets—they’ll try to steal your rocket fuel.
  2. Slather on the peanut butter thick enough that the banana disappears like a hillbilly at a church social. Don’t be shy—this ain’t the time for fancy spreading.
  3. Stick on chocolate chips or raisins wherever they’ll stick. Bonus points if one lands in your ear; that’s extra protein.
  4. Pretend you’re launching a spaceship. Scream “BLAST OFF, Y’ALL!” for authenticity.
  5. Bite into that sticky, chocolatey masterpiece. If it sticks to your mustache, you’re officially a certified peanut butter astronaut.
  6. Optional: spin around in your chair three times while hollering “TO THE MOON, BABY!” for maximum flavor propulsion. Warning: may cause dizziness, giggles, and minor hallucinations of moon cheese.
