Melissa Kaye is the News Director for WFHR and WIRI in the Wisconsin Rapids area, where she also co-hosts The Morning Show on WFHR. Although new to the area since 2021, she has long called Wisconsin home. Covering hyper-local news felt like the right way to connect with her new community. Now, as part of Civic Media, she’s proud to help keep the stations rooted in the places they serve. Off-air, Melissa enjoys local libraries, parks, and community theatre.
