The Six One Five Collective LIVE on WRCO FM

Backstage @ WRCO with Phil Nee is LIVE, in studio music and conversation with some of the top AND up and coming artists in the United States.

This week, Phil had the chance to bring “The Six One Five Collective” into the WRCO FM Studios on highway 14 in Richland Center.

The collaborative effort and creative brainstorm of solo artists Sarah Darling, Michael Logen, Shelly Fairchild and Nicole Witt, the band has toured around the world opening for John Legend, India Arie, John Hiatt, Kenny Chesney, and others. They’ve played the Grand Ole Opry stage, C2C, and have toured extensively overseas.

The music they make is steeped in the musical mix of Country, Americana, Folk and Pop.

Their upcoming release is “No One Ever Talks About the Nights They Went to Bed Earl “. Here is the live WRCO recording of that upcoming hit. Try NOT to sing along!

Their sound is an undeniable wall of distinctive harmonies, vocal prowess, and solo voices that are reminiscent of those great American bands that have come before them, Fleetwood Mac, Little Big Town, etc. Their road show is an eclectic mix of original solo music, hit songs they’ve written for other artists, and high energy songs that are the ‘Six One Five sound.

They are Nationally awarded artists and songwriters with three Grammy nominations and an IBMA Song of the Year honor. Their songs have been written for household names like George Strait, Lee Brice, Marc Broussard, Sister Hazel, and several TV shows such as Nashville, Parenthood, and Virgin River! Their latest single “Brothers of The Highway” is available now to stream everywhere!
