
2nd installment of property taxes due July 31
Richland County Treasurer, Ashley Mott, is reminding property taxpayers, July 31, 2026 is the final due date for the second installment of the 2025 Real Estate Property Taxes. Taxes are due and payable to the County Treasurer’s Office. The interest rate charged in August will be 7% and interest will increase 1% on the first of each month thereafter.
Taxes can be paid several different ways. Payments can be made online using our public portal on the Richland County Treasurer’s website. Payments with cash or check can be made in person at the County Treasurer’s Office, dropped in the drop box located outside the courthouse, or mailed to the Richland County Treasurer’s Office along with your tax statement.
If you would like a receipt of your payment, please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope. More information can be found on the Richland County Treasurer’s website.
