Students from St. Mary’s School took part in the regional SeaPerch competition
As the school year winds down there are still competitions being held before the school year ends. Recently a team of students from St. Mary’s School, in Richland Center, took part in the regional SeaPerch competition and did well. Stacia Kohlstedt is the Principal at St. Mary’s.
The winning team, along with their coach and a couple supporters, are preparing for their trip to Maryland hoping for success at the national competition.
For those not familiar with the SeaPerch competition Stacia Kohlstedt explains what tasks were done by the teams that took part at the event.
Father Nate Kuhn, pastor at St Mary’s, is proud of how well the teams did.
Good job to all the teams that took part in the regional SeaPerch Competition and congratulations to the team from St. Mary’s School that will be competing in the national competition at the end of this month in Maryland. Best of luck at the event.
