The annual kickoff night for Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination was held last night at the RIchland Center Community Center.
A pancake supper provided by the Kiwanis Club was offered and team captains registered their teams for the 2026 Walk. The four ambassadors for this year’s event were announced. They are Mike Bradford, Gary Schwartz, Nancy Gher (gear), and Babe Kraska.
The ambassadors will share their personal cancer journey stories in the days leading up to this year’s Walk with Grace which will take place on Friday night August 14th at Krouskop Park in Richland Center.
Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center. Currently, Adam hosts the Weekend Wake-up and Prime Mover Saturdays on WRCO FM, jumps in and helps out with news duties, handles Social Media duties for WRCO and WRCE, and is the Director of Technology at a Southwest Wisconsin School District.
