
Educational series to Reduce Anxious & Depressed Feelings.
Community members, parents, caretakers and children are invited to a free educational series titled Building Connections to Reduce Anxious & Depressed Feelings.
The series helps gain knowledge & coping skills to increase connection and to decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression. Each session will offer a group discussion with key questions for parents and caregivers while youth are participating in adult-led screen-free activities. Session 2, Importance of Play & Social Connection will be held today (Monday) at the Richland Center Community Center. Session 3, Rise of Phone Based Childhoods, will be held Monday, April 20, at The Union in Richland Center and the Series Finale, Community Panel Discussion, will be Monday, April 27, at the Richland Center Auditorium.
