Hospital officials emphasize that February is an important time to donate blood, as winter weather, seasonal illnesses, and fewer scheduled drives often result in lower donation numbers. At the same time, hospitals continue to depend on a steady and reliable blood supply to support surgeries, cancer treatments, trauma care, and medical emergencies.
Community blood donations through ImpactLife help ensure lifesaving care is available for patients at The Richland Hospital. An ImpactLife blood drive will be held at the Richland Hospital on Tuesday (February 17) from 10:00 to 3:00 at Pippin Hall located in the hospital.
ImpactLife serves hospitals across the region by collecting, testing, and distributing blood products, ensuring patients have access to safe and reliable blood when it matter. Donations collected during the February blood drive will directly support patient care needs at The Richland Hospital and throughout the surrounding communities.
One blood donation can help save up to three lives, making each donor’s participation critically important. Appointments are encouraged, though walk‑ins will be welcomed as space permits. You can schedule an appointment by visiting bloodcenter.org, or calling ImpactLife at 800‑747‑5401, Group Code: 5770.
