OSHKOSH, WI—(WISS)— The deadline to file papers to run for office passed this week, and the list of candidates is out. In Oshkosh, seven people are seeking one of the three seats on the Oshkosh Common Council. Five people are running for the two seats on the Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) Board of Education. And in Winnebago County, 17 seats on the Board of Supervisors are contested.
Oshkosh Common Council
Three seats on the Oshkosh Common Council are being decided in this non-partisan election cycle.
Jacob Amos, who was appointed in November to the Common Council seat vacated by Kris Larson, is the only incumbent running for re-election. Council Members DJ Nichols and Jacob Floam are not running.
In addition to Amos, six other Oshkosh residents are seeking to serve on the Common Council.

Only one race will have a primary. That will be District 14 in Oshkosh, in which three people are running, including former Winnebago County Executive Jon Doemel.
