
Walk with GRACE to host 4th annual “Walk Around the World with GRACE”
RICHLAND CENTER, WIS. (WRCO / WRCE) If you are looking to change your lifestyle by losing weight or becoming more active in the new year and don’t have an accountability buddy, Walk Around the World with GRACE is a great option.
While working alone you get over 300 accountability buddies free of charge. For more information about Walk Around the World with GRACE go online to WWW.WALKWITHGRACE.ORG.
However, you do choose to set goals for the year, make sure they’re realistic and achievable so you can set yourself up for success.
The purpose is to lower cancer risk through regular exercise.
At least 150 minutes of exercise per week lowers risk.
This is an award winning cancer prevention program.
GRACE received the 2025 Impact Award “For Your Significant Impact on Cancer Prevention in Wisconsin”, from the Wisconsin Cancer Collaborative.
Leif Carlson is the organizer of the event.
Participants will not only receive a weekly newsletter but will also have a chance to gather once a month.
Walk Around the World is held each year to encourage people to get active which helps prevent cancer.
Leif Carlson says you don’t have to be an athlete to participate.

This is a community-wide event designed to encourage participation from everyone in our area.
This is the 4th annual Walk Around the World with GRACE. As a group, they have walked over four times around the world so far!
It runs from January 1 to July 31.
The group meets the first Monday of each month for a healthy potluck dinner and cancer prevention discussion. 5:30PM to 6:45PM at the Community Center in RC.
Everyone who joins receives a free reflective vest to wear while exercising to spread awareness.
