
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (WRCO / WRCE) – The Brewer Public Library will be closed in observance of Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11.
This Veterans Day, Vortex will be opening its doors to say thank you. From 8-10 a.m. on Tuesday, veterans and active-duty service members are invited to stop by the headquarters showroom for coffee and conversation. Simply show your military I.D. and grab a cup from the Boss Cow truck, then pick up a Spirit of Service coin in the showroom. Meet the team members of Vortex®, including CEO Joe Hamilton. Also, snap a keepsake before you go at the showroom photo booth.
Weston School District invites veterans and community members to the Veteran’s Day Program of Honor on Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Weston High School Gym. Veterans may arrive at 8:15 a.m. for breakfast in the Weston Cafeteria. Please enter at the High School Entrance.
A Veterans Day Program will be held in the Richland Center High School Field House on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Sr. Chief Construction Man of the United States Navy will be the guest speaker.
The Boscobel Area Schools will host a Veterans Day Program in the Fieldhouse Gym on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
A Veterans Day Program is scheduled at the Kickapoo High School Gymnasium for Tuesday at 10:50 a.m. Leonard Frye, Vietnam Army Veteran and member of the American Legion Post #447 will be the guest speaker.
The Ithaca School District will hold a ceremony to honor our veterans, today in the Ithaca Gymnasium. The program starts at 1:30 p.m. The military honor guard will be present, and the Honorary Speaker will be Greg Cooke.
