MADISON, Wis. – (Civic Media) – A Racine man is the first winner of a $1 million top prize in the Wisconsin Lottery’s Million Dollar Diamonds scratch-off game. Daniel Macemon claimed his winning ticket last week at the Madison lottery office after buying it at Racine’s Pick ‘n Save on Douglas Avenue.

The $30 game, launched March 14, offers three $1 million prizes and 11 total prize tiers ranging from $30 to $1 million. Additional winning tickets of $10,000 and $50,000 have been claimed since its debut.

That Pick ‘n Save store will receive a $20,000 retailer incentive for selling the winning ticket, part of a program rewarding stores for large wins. The Racine location has sold multiple high-value tickets since 2017, including a $100,000 All or Nothing prize and a $92,262 Fast Play Progressive Jackpot.

Million Dollar Diamonds has odds of 1:160,000 for the top prize. The Wisconsin Lottery has returned over $6.1 billion in property tax credits to homeowners since 1988, with $11.4 billion paid in total prizes.
