Friday, February 21

A Red Cross blood drive will be held Friday, February 21, from 11:00 to 5:00 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo.

Saturday, February 22

The 25th and final Lee Lake Polar Bear Plunge will be held Saturday, February 22, in Cazenovia. The live auction will begin at 11:30 at the Cazenovia Community Center. There will also be raffles, a bake sale, food and refreshments. The plunge into Lee Lake will begin at 2:00 and will include a costume contest. For more information call Krissy at 608-393-2435.

The Friends of Vernon County Parks and Forests will be hosting guided Winter Walks exploring two Vernon County parks. The winter walks and bonfire are for friends and families of all ages and will take place at Lower Duck Egg February 22. Walkers are to meet in the park parking lots. All walks will begin promptly at 3:00 and will be approximately one hour long, with a bonfire and beverages to immediately follow.

Park Street Christian Church will host a spaghetti supper on Saturday, February 22 from 4:00 until gone This will be a fundraiser for the Stained Glass Window Fund

American Legion Post 13, Richland Center, will be having their Soup & Chil Supper with Pie Auction on Saturday, February 22, starting at 4:30 until gone. Whole homemade pies will be auctioned throughout the evening. Cost for the supper is a free will donation. Proceeds will go towards building upkeep.

Sunday, February 23

The Ithaca Lions Club, with the Buena Vista Lions Club, will be holding a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for Jennifer Ward on Sunday, February 23, from 7:00 until 12:30 at the Ithaca High School Commons. The menu will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese applesauce and milk. The event will also feature a bake sale, silent auction and meat paddles. There will also be a free will donation Bounce House for the kids. Cost for the meal is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Preschoolers eat for free. The Blue River Fire & Rescue Pancake Breakfast will be held
Sunday, February 23, from 8:00 to Noon at the Blue River Community Building.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting the Cosmic K9-Pin Tap Fundraiser Sunday, February 23, starting at 11:00 at the Phoenix Center in Richland Center. The 9-pin tap tournament fundraiser will consist of teams of four people with a buy in of $100 per team. There will be payouts to the top three team’s series scores, as well as overall individual series. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and bucket raffles.
