Races Set for Madison Common Council Election

MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – The city council races are now set for the April 1 election.

Three Common Council districts had three candidates running, and required a primary Tuesday. The three incumbents in those districts made it through to the election. 

In District 9, current alder Nikki Conklin and Joann Pritchett will be on the ballot. 

In District 10, Lisa Veldran will try to unseat alder Yannette Figueroa Cole.

In District 12, alder Amani Latimer Burris will face challenger Julie Matthews. 

All 20 aldermanic districts in Madison have elections April 1.
