Now that the temperatures are getting cooler and weather conditions will be changing soon many consumers might be looking for a place to store larger spring and summer recreational items, to keep them protected during the fall and winter. Michelle Reinen (rye-nun) is with The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).
There are a variety places that “store for hire.” When searching for a legitimate licensed “store for hire” location DATCP can help.
Michelle Reinen says that it is important that the place of storage is licensed so you can get proper coverage to protect what you are storing, in case something happens.
