The members of the Richland Center Kiwanis Club are getting geared up to lend a helping hand to families preparing for a return to school. Regardless of the unknowns for area schools, the Kiwanis Club’s desire to support area students, teachers and schools with school supplies is a priority for the club as it has always been. There will however be changes.
Due to COVID-19, the Richland Center Kiwanis school supply sign-up will be Saturday morning, August 1st, from 9:00 to 11:00 and Wednesday evening, August 5th, from 5:30 to 7:00. The signup will take place at the park shelter by the basketball courts in Krouskup Park. You must sign your children up to receive the supplies. Richland County children, regardless of what school they attend in this area are welcome. The sign-up is critical. When you sign up Saturday morning or Wednesday evening, you will receive a slip with the pick-up day listed. You will need to bring that slip with you when you pick up the supplies.
