Solid Gold Dancers Christmas Party

Saturday night during WRCOs' six hour tribute to the vinyl era,  I will be spinning all of your favorite hits and we will sift through the archives for memorable Christmas record performances.  Many rock and roll acts recorded holiday records.  My favorite vintage rock and roll Christmas albums include long plays from the Beach Boys,  Four Seasons,  Supremes,  Elvis,  Phil Spector artists,  Paul Revere and the Raiders,  Partridge Family, and the Motown Christmas album.  We will slip in a few from those sets and maybe even a few rarities (have you ever heard the Blues Magoos Christmas record?)

I hope you will give me a call this Saturday night and have some fun with us.  It will be a pleasure to play a song for you.  This will be the final Those Were The Days of 2021 because next Saturday is Christmas day and the Packers play an afternoon game which, with the post game show, will run late into the night.  After this week we will plan to be back to celebrate a new year with old music Saturday night January first,  2022.  Let's have some fun this weekend.

p.s. Make sure to check out Kent Kotal's Forgottenhits.com.  He will be featuring highlights from some of my favorite Those Were The Days interviews at his website most Saturdays in 2022. I am honored to be able to share them with music lovers all over the world.  It will be fun to dub some of those memorable moments that I have saved on cassettes, mini discs, and reel to reel tapes over the years.

Phil
