This Saturday will be Christmas day and the Green and Gold will play. Wayne and 'the rock' will be giving us the play-by-play on the radio of the big game in Green Bay and at the same time I will be unwrapping my gifts (all toys I hope). Our Those Were The Days radio program will take a night off, however, we are making plans to have a big radio bash on Saturday night January first! There will be more details about that next week.
Merry Christmas to one and all. It is always an honor to play your favorite songs. When I was growing up the radio at our house was always on. My dad would sing along with the Christmas tunes. His voice always reminded me of Bing Crosby. We would go to the neighbors every year for Christmas songs around the piano and everyone would sing. It was like what you see on the Hallmark channel! It is my hope that you make new Christmas memories this season and I will try to do the same. I will be trying to teach the two grand babies about really good music. Thanks again for being with us the whole year through. We will rock and roll together again on Saturday night January first.
