Dem. state chair candidates officially meet requirements to run

MADISON, Wis (CIVIC MEDIA) – All three announced candidates for the Democratic Party’s state chair have qualified for the race in time for the party’s June convention, the party confirmed to Civic Media.

Three representatives are on the ballot for state chair: 3rd CD Democratic Chair William Garcia, former party Executive Director Devin Remiker, and operative Joe Zepecki.

Each candidate was required to submit at least 60 signatures from current party members; 10 of those endorsements needed to come from a minimum of six of Wisconsin’s eight congressional districts.

The 2025 Democratic State Convention will convene at the Wisconsin Dells on June 14 to June 15.
