MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) — It’ll be a busy day in Milwaukee tomorrow. The city plays host to Donald, Doug, and the debut of playoff baseball for 2024.
Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff is set to campaign in Milwaukee on Tuesday, October 1, as the 2024 presidential race intensifies.
Emhoff, husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, will focus on the administration’s economic plans during his visit.
The Second Gentleman’s appearance coincides with a scheduled campaign stop by former President Donald Trump, who will speak at Discovery World at 5:00 PM the same day.
The location and timing of the Emhoff event isn’t yet known.
Adding to the day’s complexity, and possible traffic impacts, the Milwaukee Brewers will host their first Wild Card playoff game at American Family Field at 4:32 PM.
Later in the day will be the vice presidential debate between Tim Walz and J.D. Vance. It’s scheduled to start at 8pm and the 90-minute debate will be broadcast on many Civic Media stations.
