Tony Kurtz of Wonewoc has announced he will be seeking re-election to the new 41st Assembly District.
Kurtz was first elected to represent the 50th Assembly District in 2018, succeeding Rep. Ed Brooks, and has worked to build on the former representative’s record of advocacy for rural Wisconsin. In his role on the Joint Finance Committee, Kurtz has been instrumental in shaping budgets that return money to taxpayers and invest in key priorities for our communities. In the 2023-2024 Legislative Session, Kurtz successfully championed over a dozen bills that have been signed into law.
The new 41st Assembly District includes: Wisconsin Dells, Dell Prairie, Easton, New Haven and Springville in Adams County; Wisconsin Dells, and Newport in Columbia County; Lyndon Station, Union Center, the town and village of Wonewoc, Kildare, Lyndon, Seven Mile Creek, and Summit in Juneau County; the city and town of Reedsburg, Wisconsin Dells, Cazenovia, the town and village of Ironton, the town and village of La Valle, Lake Delton, Lime Ridge, Loganville, North Freedom, Rock Springs, Dellona, Delton, Excelsior, Freedom, Washington, Westfield, Winfield, and Woodland in Sauk County; Viola in Vernon County; and all of Richland County.
