England Dan And John Ford Coley And Philip James Nee

The pop duo known as England Dan and John Ford Coley,  from Austin Texas,  had four top ten hits from 1976 through 1979 and two other top twenty-five hits.  Hear insight about them from John Ford Coley this Saturday night on Those Were The Days.   Their big hit 'Love Is The Answer', which came out in the Spring of 1979, was the prom theme at Ithaca High School that year.  I didn't have a date (of course), however, I did get my nerve up to ask someone to dance!  I am sure that she doesn't remember.   Join me for radio memories from the fifties through the eighties on WRCO FM 100.9 this Saturday night.  I will be in the studio ready to answer the phone and talk with you about the greatest music of all time.  We are one of the few stations left that still take phone calls not only during the day light hours but weekend nights.  Beau mans the phone on Sunday nights for the station.  I hope to hear from you Saturday night during Those Were The Days.
