Brewer Public Library Summer Reading Program

The summer reading program at Brewer Public Library in Richland Center is off to a good start. Children's Services Librarian Emily Zorea reports that students have read 280 hours so far which means  the Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service and the Four Seasons of Fun will each contribute $280 toward the new Richland Center Aquatic Center. Each organization has pledged up to $5000 toward the summer reading program, a dollar for every hour read.

Zorea says a popular question is: Can I still sign up for the summer reading program? The answer is an enthusiastic "yes!". Anyone can sign up for the summer reading program, enjoy all its perks and earn funds for the aquatic center, anytime between now and the end of August. Signing up sooner than later will allow families to take full advantage of the program.

The Summer Reading Program Brewer Library Bulletin Board Update for this week shows a grand total of $580 for the aquatic center thanks to 280 hours of reading, which means readers have achieved just over 5% of the summer reading goal.
