2017 Richland County Fair

The 155th Richland County Fair will will officially begin on Wednesday, September 6th, with livestock exhibit entries at the Richland County Fairgrounds.

Fair exhibits will be accepted at the fairgrounds from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Weigh-ins for beef, dairy steers, sheep, and swine will be announced during check-in. Judging will also be held in the Junior Photography & Videography and Open Class Photography.

The remainder of exhibits will be accepted on primary Entry Day Thursday, September 7th. All Non-Livestock entries will be accepted between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. They only exception to that is in the Foods categories. Open Class Foods are due by 4:00 PM Thursday, while Junior Class Foods need to be in place by 5:00 PM. Judging will also be held on Thursday in the Junior and Open Class Sheep at 10:00 AM, and Junior & Open Class Beef Heifers at 7:00 PM. A full day of judging at the Richland County Fair is set for Friday, September 8th.

The Richland County Fair features a free gate both Wednesday and Thursday. Admission Friday and Saturday is $8 for adults 16 and older, $3 for children 6 to 16 years old, $5 for seniors, and free for children five and under. Admission will remain the same on Sunday, however, adult admission will change to $5. Season passes for adults 17 and older are also available for $18. New to the Richland County Fair this year, the cost of admission includes entrance to the grandstand.
