Bridge Restriction South of Lone Rock

Starting immediately and continuing indefinitely, the Highway 130 Bridge south of Lone Rock has a number of restrictions.

According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation reported that as of this (Thursday) afternoon, the Wisconsin River Bridge at Lone Rock has been reduced to one lane in the interest of safety. In addition, traffic lights are being installed to regulate the traffic, and no traffic weighing 20 tons or more will be allowed to cross the bridge until further notice. Wisconsin DOT officials recently inspected the bridge and the restrictions are a result of that inspection. Signs for the area advising travelers of the issue will be installed soon. Again, the restrictions on the Highway 130 Wisconsin River Bridge at Lone Rock are in place now, and will continue to be until further notice.
