Last Day To Submit Making A Difference Nominations

Today, January 12th, is the deadline for those wishing to nominate a deserving individual, business, or organization for a 2017 Making a Difference award.

Nomination forms are available here at WRCO, but the easiest way to submit a nomination is through out website at wrco.com. Once you find the “Making a Difference” tab at the top of the page, you will see a description of each of the categories: Business of the Year, Outstanding Organization Award, Civic Leadership Award, Non-Profit of the Year, Best Face Forward Award, Community Stewardship Award, and Emergency Responder Award. You'll then be asked for some basic contact information for yourself, choose your award nominee, the category for that nominee, and then a space to describe how your nominee is making a difference in Richland County. These awards may be given for work done in the previous 12 months, or for an entire body of work. Be sure to tell why you nominated this individual or business with as much detail as possible. You can then submit the nomination electronically on-line.

The nominations will be reviewed, and then be presented during the during the Making a Difference Awards Banquet the evening of Sunday, January 29th at the Phoenix Center in Richland Center.

But again, today, January 12th, is the last day that nominations for 2017 Making a Difference awards will be accepted.
