2016 Red Kettle Times Available

Red kettles, ringing bells, and a generous community support will be spotted in the coming weeks as the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive is set to get underway.

In Richland Center, volunteers will be stationed at Gordy's Market and both entrances at Wal-Mart. A number of families, businesses, church and youth groups have come forward to fill available time slots, however there are a handful of opportunities still available for those who are interested in helping out. The days with the biggest need are Saturday, November 26th; Saturday, December 17th; and Friday, December 23rd.

On November 23rd bell ringers will be needed at 9:00 AM, noon, and 3:00 PM. December 17th has openings at 9:00 AM, noon, and 1:00 PM. There are also several available times on December 23rd.

According to Red Kettle Coordinator Kathy Ehorn, “It's wonderful how generous people are toward the Salvation Army this time of year with their time and financial donations.” People who would like to volunteer can give as little as one hour, however those willing to offer more time will be appreciated.
