Lime Ridge Ag "A Day with the Experts"

Those interested in learning more about future farming and agriculture operations will have the opportunity to do so courtesy of Lime Ridge Ag.

“A Day with the Experts” will take place next Tuesday (Jan. 12) from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wallace Student Center on the UW-Richland campus. Experts will be speaking on topics such as dairy, beef, and agronomy. Tim Willis is the owner of Lime Ridge Ag and will serve as the host for the event.

The event will begin with opening messages from keynote speaker Kim Bremmer and Secretary Ben Brancel at 11:00 AM. A meal provided by Lime Ridge Ag will take place following the speakers. Sessions will then take place beginning at 1:00 PM and concluding around 4:00 PM.

Students from nine local FFA chapters will also take part in the event. FFA chapters that will be represented include Hillsboro, Ithaca, Kickapoo, Reedsburg, Richland Center, River Valley, Riverdale, Weston, and Wonewoc. A free will donation, which will take place during the meal, will be given to all nine chapters. Reservations for the event are suggested but not required.
