Tomah VA Hospital Collection

The annual collection for veterans at the VA Hospital in Tomah will take place this Wednesday, December 9.

The collection is organized by the Richland Center VFW post #2267 and auxiliary. Volunteers will again be stationed at the Richland County Bank lobby accepting items that will help enhance the comfort and quality of life during the veterans stay at the facility. Last year's collection was very successful for the VFW and auxiliary.

Those who would like to contribute to the effort can make a financial donation or contribute items similar to previous collections. Items that have been collected in the past will continue to be needed. These include toiletry products such as shampoo and liquid body wash and current magazines. In addition, clothes, shoes, winter coats, and winter gloves in any sizes along with other popular past items will gladly be accepted.

The VFW Post #2267 and Auxiliary members would like to thank the community in advance for helping make the drive an annual tradition to be proud of. The drive will take place this Wednesday at the Richland County Bank from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
