Local Thanksgiving Dinners

With Thanksgiving coming up this week there are a couple of churches who will offer a Thanksgiving meal for those who are in need.

St. John's Lutheran Church in Richland Center will host the annual Richland Center community Thanksgiving dinner this Thursday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There are no income guidelines to be served a traditional Thanksgiving meal and everyone is welcome to attend. While the meal is free, a free will offering will be taken to help local individuals in need.

If you are unable to attend, but would like a meal, meals will be delivered within a 2-mile radius of Richland Center between 11:00 AM and noon on Thursday. If you wish to have a meal delivered requests should be made by noon Wednesday. To order a meal to be delivered call St. John's Church at 647-3000. If you get the answering machine, please leave your name, address, the number of meals you need delivered, and your phone number. Anyone with questions, those who would be interested in volunteering, or those who would like to place a delivery order, may call St. John's at 647-3000.

The other local church providing a Thanksgiving dinner is The United Church of Muscoda Presbyterian. They will host the 2015 Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 26, starting at 12:00 PM. Carry-outs will be available from 11:00-11:30 AM. RSVP with the number attending and if rides will be required by calling 739-3933.
